Before you agree

AavanJavan provides an introduction and coordination service. We do not currently accept payments or confirm transport. A reviewed enquiry is not customs clearance, an identity guarantee or insurance.

• Both parties: read the official guidance and our FAQ and responsibilities. Obtain route-specific advice before agreeing to carry goods for payment.
• Sender: disclose every item, quantity, value and owner accurately. Provide receipts where available and allow inspection. Never hide contents or ask anyone to misdeclare them.
• Traveller: inspect every item yourself; refuse sealed or unverifiable contents. You must check customs, airline, transit and declaration requirements and can refuse an item.
• Both parties: agree collection, delivery, fees, any duties, cancellations and what happens if goods are delayed, refused, lost or damaged before acceptance. A private agreement cannot override legal duties.
• Recipient: be available at the agreed location, check the item and confirm receipt honestly. Report problems promptly through the agreed contact method.

For this pilot, do not request medicines, food, liquids, batteries, jewellery, cash, identity documents, weapons, controlled goods, counterfeit or high-value items. This is our pilot policy, not an exhaustive customs list.
